Sectional Garage Door Springs

These torsion springs are for sectional garage doors made up of panels which open vertically with each panel turning 90°C as the door goes up to eventually lay horizontal under the ceiling when open. These springs can be identified by having 'plugs' at both ends, which are identified by colour coding.

We have a wide selection of sectional garage door springs in stock. If you are looking for a different sized sectional spring, we can manufacture to order or cut down lengths of our standard springs. Contact our team for more information on; sales@cmisprings.co.nz

Specify your spring

Our standard stock springs are sold individually; you need to know which hand you are after as well as the length and wire size.

Left hand or Right hand Wound

To determine if a spring is left or right hand wound hold the spring while finding the end of the wire. Look along the spring while finding the end of the wire. If the end of the spring is heading to your right - it is LEFT HAND WOUND. If the end of the spring is heading to your left, it is RIGHT HAND WOUND.
